16 May @ Home vs. Leavenworth (10-0, 2:57 into the second half)
Well, we kicked off playoffs with a pretty solid offensive performance, creating 12 corners in the first half (and scoring on 3 of them). We also somehow got to 10 with our previous best performances both at 3. We scored on 5 deadball plays! And second half lasted almost 3 minutes.
BWhite named Katelyn Heying as the BWhite Player of the Match as she notched a nice hat trick, her final goal a great strike off a great d-ball from Hallie. We need more of that.
We played 21, all that were in uniform, and more importantly, we got a great effort from all. As many said in pregame, we need to bring enthusiasm to the matches now as it covers up so many little errors.
Tonight good effort against a Leavenworth team who played hard all night long.
We head to Lansing on Thursday, looking to nab a regional title. Onward.
